Ms. Hong, Executive Director of CECD has been awarded by PKSF, Bangladesh

PKSF, one of the world’s famous Bangladeshi apex development organizations, has been awarded crest & certificate to Ms. Hong, executive director of Center for Education and Community Development (CECD) in recognition of her contribution to the development works in Bangladesh that she made through establishing a crab hatchery in Bangladesh. Furthermore, it is almost a decade ago since CECD has been started organizing study visits for PKSF and its POs’(Partner Organizations) officials on various development issues viz.; climate change adaptation, community development, micro enterprise development, organic farming, crab hatchery, etc. Ms. Hong has also been provided training of several renowned Bangladeshi famous NGO/MFI officials like Jagoroni Chakara Foundation (JCF), Society for Social Services (SSS) and Integrated Development Foundation (IDF) on nutrition and medicinal plant. On 27 July, 2016 PKSF awarded crest & certificate to Ms. Hong and another Bangladeshi philanthropist in a gala program where Honorable Finance Minister AMA Muhith, People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present. Honorable Finance Minister AMA Muhith handed over the crest and certificate to Ms. Hong. Dr. Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmed, honorable Chairman, Mr. Md. Abdul Karim, Managing Director, DMD’s and official of PKSF, CEO’s of the 200 POs of PKSF and other dignitaries were also present in the award giving ceremony.
