CRAB HATCHERY IN THE CENTRAL COASTAL PROVINCE IN VIETNAM
CECD in cooperation with Viet Nam Aquaculture Institute to conduct survey on capacity building assessment and business promotion activities for Aquaculture Center.
CECD Deputy Director visited the Crab hatchery farm projects in the central coastal province Vietnam on 4 June, 2015. Project is implemented by experts and engineers have many years of experience in cultivating crab in Vietnam. The process of implementing measures applied techniques to optimize production efficiency in cultivate crab that is expressed by egg production process of one mother crab from 600 thousand egg to 1.2 million eggs, and the percentage of eggs developing into juvenile crabs reach between 15% - 35%.
CECD Deputy Director reported possitive results of crab cultivation processes to achieve high productivity is illustrated as follows:
